Called Shichifukujin in Japan, the 7 Gods of Happiness are the popular Benzaiten, Bishamonten, Daikokuten, Ebisu, Fukurokuju, Hotei and Jurojin known to all Japanese. Stemming from various religious currents, this unique group of divinities is prayed to in temples and shrines across the archipelago for good luck.
