Royal Copenhagen coffee maker, milk jug and sugar bowl
Founded in the 17th century, the factory manufactures and restores
the Danish royal family.
The tableware is hand-painted and signed on the reverse with the three waves symbolizing Denmark’s maritime straits into the Baltic: the Great Belt, the Little Belt and the Sound.
Created and produced for the first time in 1775, this model was inspired by the decorations on Chinese porcelain, which was then imported to Europe at a high price. The model was then redesigned by Royal Copenhagen artistic director Arnold Krog in 1885.
A classic known as “Blue fluted plain” or “motif number one”. This set is the inspiration for all Royal Copenhagen sets.
The set includes a small coffee pot without lid, height 13 cm, which can be used as a vase.
A sugar bowl in perfect condition. Height 11 cm Capacity 20 cl
A small milk jug in perfect condition, 8.5 cm, capacity 8 cl
