The accident in no way detracts from the elegance of the model or from the teapot’s normal use.
Under the company name Lebeuf, Milliet et Cie, the factory obtains numerous prizes, a gold medal in 1864 and 1867 and nothing less than a quotation in L’Éducation sentimentale by Flaubert. The worst happens with the suppression of Creil and the transfer of all the activities to Montereau, the name Creil and Montereau will be maintained. The year 1895 also marks the beginning of the decline with a little renewed production.
